Self-Help Meeting
Self-Help Meeting is a CRI sponsored consumer support group to discuss various topics to overcome barriers people with disabilities have in their lives. Moderated by Nancy Makay, monthly topics and articles are presented and discussed between participants on suggestions to overcome barriers. Meetings are generally held on the second Thursday of each month in the Erie Office. Past topics include discipline, depression, culture, difficult experiences. These are peer support group meetings and do not include professional opinions. Contact the CIL Secretary in the Erie Office for more information and to RSVP.
